20 years of writing and digital experience
Amanda B. Granger
As a graduate of the Broadcast Journalism program at Troy (State) University, I learned quickly how to write concise, compelling stories. I took that knowledge from Troy and applied it to several television producing jobs in Dothan, Ala., Huntsville, Ala., Charlotte, NC and Montgomery, Ala. I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree in Strategic Communication and plan to have that degree in May.
I was extremely fortunate to serve as a web journalist, online editor and digital media manager for news outlets in Charlotte, Montgomery and Savannah. This is where I learned the valuable skills that gave me the confidence to build websites outside the newsroom, write blogs and engage readers (customers) through social media.
For the past 20 years, I have been writing, editing, posting and sharing online. In some cases, I've had to start from scratch (or little to no followers). But the team and I were able to grow the pages! Just check out the Facebook and Twitter pages for savannahnow.com. They were my babies! I also found success working on the Facebook page for the Montgomery Advertiser. But that's not all! Over the years, businesses, non-profits and individuals have trusted me create their digital presence. My team and I would love to do the same for you.
